This one was about 50 yards from where he was shot. The goal is to strike both lungs and get a complete pass through of the arrow. The proper shot selection(quartering away) and hitting the correct aimpoint make all the difference in making a quick recovery of the animal.

Ending a 3 week trip AZ to SD and back. 6.29gal has been typical. Got ass raped at a marathon I Durango at 6.69gal. I let myself get low and had no choice to add half a tank to get me down the road. Love Co. But the fuel situation sucks. Gas stations are all tiny!!! Now i know why everyone drives a Subaru in that state.

Good to know. We should be able to make it to the Costco in Tigard from Vancouver Canada before we need to refuel.

Neal - Don't "wait it out". Go forth while the debauched fiat dollars in your cash bank balances and arriving income streams can still buy something AND is still under your discretionary control.

Not to panic anybody or get political here, but unspent cash is like a banana left on a sunny kitchen windowsill. Leave it unused for a while and it becomes black, runny and needs thrown away, useless to your purpose.

We are headed to Red Bay Alabama. Then on to Aburndale FL for a Tiffin Rally. Paid $5.45 a gallon in Spring Brook Pa before I left. I hit Elliston VA Loves paid $6.49 a gal. I saw one sign when I was traveling for $7.29 a gallon.

The point is, I don't know how many long trips I have left in me. This will probably be around 3K miles before I am done. Hell if I waited for next year I might not be around...LOL Yeah it costing a lot more for fuel, but we are making memories now.

I have the open roads fuel card, so I should get some kind of discount from Loves.

Just ran up to Sandusky Ohio for their State Senior Olympics. I saw gas as high as $4.59 and diesel at $7.20.
