I suspect this will have even less effect on what auto manufacturers do than the relaxation of fuel economy requirements did.
 
It's a change authorizing a software change only which will enable normal to near normal operation for up to 4 wks after a DEF system failure in non farm vehicles and up to 36 hours in farm equipment.
Which will go a long way towards solving the problems farmers are facing today.
