Yesterday at the Vancouver border crossing we were asked if we had a drone. We answered yes and the response was that we cannot bring a DJI drone into the US from CA. We were traveling in our motorhome with our tow vehicle. What should have been a simple crossing turned into a 2+ hour ordeal. We had to go back into CA to get rid of the drone. Arrgh!!
Last year when we traveled to and from Canada having a drone was not an issue.
Upon search the web “On December 22–23, 2025, the FCC placed foreign drone manufacturers—specifically naming DJI—on its "Covered List" due to data and national security concerns. This action blocks the importation and sale of new foreign drone models in the United States”
Trying to get the word out.
