Question Does anyone have chains for a Class A when traveling out west in snow?

When we were out west this fall we got snowed on in October. Not much but got me thinking about traveling in the mountains during snow season. I understand that CA is one of the few states that require chains or 4WD at times. Skiing at Tahoe many years ago in the Spring, on the trip from Sacramento to Tahoe we discovered where the term "Chain Monkey" is used. Support your local ski bum.

Anyone have experience with chains on a Class A. 22,5" tires.?

That's why they call them motorhomes! When it snows, we just park our home and wait it out. No chains for us.

If I was going to carry chains, I would certainly look at the AutoSocks.

I carry AutoSocks. Very compact and light. I would never plan to intentionally use these devices. I carry them for an unplanned event. Given the closed in wheel well on motorhomes I would never put chains on the drive wheels. Just asking for trouble.
