Question Does anyone know if we can drive our RV thru and park in parking lots at all the National Parks? not to camp, just drivingparking

I concur with Rod. Rocky Mountain National Park is no place for large RV.

We just want to be able to drive our RV thru the Yellowstone,Rocky Mtn.,Arches, Canyonlands, Grand Tetons, Moab, Mt Rushmore and then thru Rapid City, Sioux City, and Denver
Any suggestions and tips would greatly be appreciated. Every where I look online it always about camping. we are not looking to camp at the campgrounds just drive our RV thru the parks and park there to take photos and see the vistas. Thanks for your help everyone.

Everyone is assuming your RV is the same as ours, some of whom have large RV's. Please complete your profile where you can enter your RV info so we better know what you're driving.

So my answer is "it depends" - if you're in an average size Class C or a Class B then I'd say no problem. I guess putting numbers to it, I'd say 35ft or shorter is probably fine. A 35ft Newmar New Aire I'd have no concerns about. My 40ft Newmar Ventana - not something I typically consider going anywhere other than campgrounds and large parking lots such as Walmart or Lowes.
