Resolved Dometic Macerator Control Board

Well, it appears the control board on our macerator has failed.

Similar to older postings there is a delay when flushing.

Bad part is, the fill valve has also stuck open so water has to stay off unless controlled etc to keep from having other issues.

Even unplugging the control cable from the back of the toilet the valve is still open allowing the toilet to continuously fill when water on.

The good news is Newmar emergency number call yesterday called me back writhing a few minutes. Nothing they could do since Dometic is not available on the weekends. They thought it may be the anti siphon until I mentioned the flush delay. They agreed it is probably the control board.

Will keep you all posted as things progress.

Edited for correct component, price, and pic.

Update on this one….

Pulled toilet away from the wall to try and get the fill valve to close.

While behind there I tapped on the vacuum breaker that is above the fill valve.

Appears that was stuck since everything is working normally again. Flush delay is gone and no longer continually filling.

Now to pull and clean or replace the vacuum breaker….

Much better than a part for $600 - $800

Vacuum breaker is about $50.
