Hi Everyone!
I am having a problem with my driveway scraping the underside of my RV where my spare tire resides. I'm worried that I am (or will) bending the frame that holds the tire.

I can't afford putting 4 larger rear tires on the RV and curb ramps aren't sufficient as the scraping starts before the tires hit the gutter. Other than having my driveway replaced, are there any other solutions I'm missing?

Thank you!
Lynn

Hi Lynn,

Is the driveway required? I park along the street as I don't want to put the weight of my RV on my concrete I'm certain is not designed for this weight.

There are some tricks to driveway ramps. You may already know this but if not: If you have the room approach the driveway at a 45 degree angle, slowly, many times this will give you a bit of a lift.

We bit the bullet and went with a new, thicker, fiber enforced driveway.
