BE CAREFUL....Verify the torque specs with Newmar. I believe the 70ft/lb is correct on most.
BUT, they have three manufacturers, WEXCO, BOSCH, & the third brand escapes me.
My Canyon Star has a WEXCO system. Called Newmar, was told 70 ft/lbs. WRONG!
Took to my local mechanic for oil change, after w/s replacement, & asked him to retorque them, & per NEWMAR, was 70 ft/lbs.
He sets torques wrench, starts to torque, and "bing", wrings off the stud!
My research, through NEWGLE is that WEXCO is torqued at 30 ft/lbs. Call NEWMAR, talked to the same "Rep", she had said "70". Checks it out, I was correct, & NEWMAR sends me two complete new wiper arm assemblies, along with the studs, washers, & nuts to repair, at NO COST!
I then leave for International, & "techs" replaced at no cost.
Long story, but the point is, TRUST but VERIFY!
Don't cha just luv RV'ing?
