BE CAREFUL....Verify the torque specs with Newmar. I believe the 70ft/lb is correct on most.
BUT, they have three manufacturers, WEXCO, BOSCH, & the third brand escapes me.
My Canyon Star has a WEXCO system. Called Newmar, was told 70 ft/lbs. WRONG!
Took to my local mechanic for oil change, after w/s replacement, & asked him to retorque them, & per NEWMAR, was 70 ft/lbs.
He sets torques wrench, starts to torque, and "bing", wrings off the stud!
My research, through NEWGLE is that WEXCO is torqued at 30 ft/lbs. Call NEWMAR, talked to the same "Rep", she had said "70". Checks it out, I was correct, & NEWMAR sends me two complete new wiper arm assemblies, along with the studs, washers, & nuts to repair, at NO COST!
I then leave for International, & "techs" replaced at no cost.
Long story, but the point is, TRUST but VERIFY!
Don't cha just luv RV'ing?;)

Okay, must check Newgle, thanks!

Kudos to Newgle for the first time! Looks like 65 ft-lbs and doc says retorque after 30 minutes. Info is in upper right of attachment for "B" which is the external nut.

I'm very concerned about breaking something by putting 70 pounds of torque on that shaft / assembly?

Torqued mine yesterday. Droopy driver's side took about 10 ft-lbs from the time it started turning. Passenger side 5'ish. Used my digital torque wrench I keep at the airplane.
