I have put off installing a stand for my Wingard auto dome for over 2 years. I suspect by getting it up in the air it would give me better reception in different locations.
I have wondered about another solution though, which might not be possible. What if a over-the-air antenna was attached to your flagpole and plugged into the cable port inside the electrical bay? Would your TVs recognize the signal and could you program them to receive the free over-the-air channels? I know we have hooked campground cable to that port on a few occasions and it works for cable, why wouldn't it work with an antenna hooked to it? Or is this the dumbest idea anyone has ever heard of?
