Hi everyone. I’m a New roadtrek owner (2017 CS adventurous). My unit has 4 ecotrek lithium batteries. My panel shows only the voltage but nothing about remaining battery life. How can I tell how much battery life is left when I’m not plugged into shore power? And can someone walk me through how the solar works? It seems like it’s a very passive system. What do I need to do to ensure the solar is charging the lithium batteries (ex is there a specific setting when parked and disconnected from shore power i need to keep batteries and inverter at to ensure they receive solar charge?)

Welcome to RVforums from Ely, Iowa. I have installed a separate dual function amp meter on my dash which monitors both chassis and house batteries. I love that fact that I can instantly see both battery levels. First picture is of the actual install. The second is just a photo of the gauge. Note small rocker switch below meter. This allows me to turn off the meter at night as the display is very bright.

I can see the levels but I don’t know what any of it means (complete rookie). Is there a simple way to translate what the meter on the panel is showing me for voltage in the batteries to what % charge they have remaining? Or what level do I watch for as a warning the lithium battery is nearly fully drained?
