My wife and I just purchased a 2021 RoadTrek Zion Chase, our question is regarding charging the lithium batteries with shore power. The owners manual seems to state that the Firefly should be "on", and the batteries and the inverter "on" when driving in order to charge batteries while driving. BUT when using shore power the manual says the inverter should be "off". Does anybody have experience regarding correct method to charge the lithium batteries while on shore power and if the inverter switch on Firefly should be "on" or "off"? Thanks!

Do you have a residential fridge? The inverter is for inverting 12 volts to 120 volts. Without knowing if it was a 'pass through' for 120v it wouldn't matter. I'm suspecting it is not, so do what the manual says to do.

You probably already have your answer but the Inverter should always be in the off position on the inverter itself and use the button on firefly panel to turn inverter on and off. Shore power charging, need to turn batteries on and inverter on to charge batteries. While driving, turn batteries on but inverter off. The only time you turn inverter on is when charging with shore power and when you need to use air conditioning or microwave etc.
