We are the in planning stages to buy a pro master play RST. Not sure yet what the fridge is but I’m just getting ideas. We probably won’t do more than 2-3 days at forest service campground s.

What have folks done to extend battery life when off road for three days to keep food cold in the fridge.
How does your fridge operate? Is it 120 V and Propane? If it will run on Propane, simply add a portable solar panel to keep the battery charged and keep the propane level up as required.

Will the truck have a DC-DC charger that would enable you to re-charge the battery?

Keeping electrical demand down by shading, and venting can help as well as not putting warm food in it or opening the door frequently.

Preparing food in advance and then freezing acts like block ice, having the space "cubed out" so the fridge/freezer is full as possible, pre cooling on shore power or in your case recharge the battery after cooling the day before leaving.

Starting off w a big enough battery bank is essential. 200 Ah Li can handle a small fridge w some solar back up. 400-500Ah is better.;)
