So I set my alarm for 4:15 am so I could get to Newmar by 6 am. I wanted to have coffee, relax then drive the 19 miles to the service center.
Woke up at 1 am and my head had a pinball bouncing around. Absolutely nothing to do with newmar or the coach, just random thoughts I could not stop. Tried to sleep and finally gave up and got out of bed at 3:40. Grabbed coffee and thats when I read the email. Be at Newmar at 7:30, ugh. Too late to go back to bed.
Got to Newmar at 7:10 and got stuck behind someone at the receptionist area wanting to know about every restaurant, coffee shop and pizza place within a 15 mile radius (I added the pizza place that part did not happen. Then, they wanted to know what sights to take in. After 20 minutes, it was my turn, she called the rep, I stood aside to wait, then the next couple with the same questions ugh.
Then I saw a man in a Newmar shirt and knew he had to be the one, so not waiting for a formal introduction, I walked up to him and introduced myself. Glad to not wait for the rehash of the Nappanee restaurant tour that these last folks where inquiring about. That poor receptionist.....
We proceeded to the coach and met my tech Rick, who, btw is very thorough. I was mesmerized. The coach was exactly as I planned, the colors worked, the additional cabinets and fireplace were perfect.
I went over the coach with Rick and could find absolutely nothing that he missed. Two days and I still have yet to find an issue.
Today the Freightliner rep met with me to go over the new features of the dash.
I have asked Newmar to do some extras including adding the new tire monitoring caps on my toad which they agreed to do. Those parts will be in tomorrow and we should be wrapped up by Thursday morning.
Sharon flies in Thursday night then its home to Florida.
I did not order the new off brand sleep number type of mattress as I was not thrilled with it in my Superstar. The standard mattress will do until I get home and order a new one, probably a Wilderness, as they will do the radiused corners.
I will never do a dealer delivery again!!!!! CPU is the only way to go and well worth the cost.

Awesome to hear. I know I feel like we should have done CPU back in 2017 when we bought ours. Our dealer pickup was a joke (and not a funny one). If there is ever a "next time", I will seriously consider it.

Congratulations! Love the colors.

She's gorgeous. Congrats and I hope it brings so much joy ahead. Please continue to share.
