When traveling a multi day road trip, and you park overnight in a parking lot, do you use a generator to power up, or just use minimal battery power.

It all depends on what you want to use. If you don’t need A/C or a fan running all night you can just run off battery power for lighting, TV and fridge. If you need to run microwave it will best to run generator unless you have a high amount of battery capacity

Also depends on where you are and who else is around. Running a generator all night can be pretty obnoxious. But in a parking lot like walmart I cant see it being an issue. Likewise in a truck stop where they run their stuff constantly. In a rest area it would probably be different. So if its hot enough that you’ll want AC all night then I’d go with a deserted lot in a commercial area or a truck stop.
