Hi everyone. Totally brand new to the RV culture here. So new in fact that we haven't even gotten our RV yet, but it will be soon I am sure...lol. Question to the group - we are getting a Class A unit and will be towing an SUV behind it. Now Mr Google tells me that the best way to do that is by flat towing. Ok, fine. Here's the thing, for the life of me I can't find any vehicles that can be flat towed safely. Now that being said, I think I may need my Canadian team to chime in here as American based vehicles have different standards so they can be flat towed whereas the Canadian version cannot. So could really use anyone's help that may know something in this regard that they can pass along to us. Thank you kindly in advance. First time I used this so hoping/assuming that you can direct message me somehow??? Anyway, looking forward to some help. Cheers

My 2020 Blazer AWD is flat towable. Easiest vehicle to put in tow mode. Put in neutral and switch battery off
Pretty sure if you buy an American made car thats flat towable, its going to be flat towable in Canada also. Always check the owners manual

Doesn't matter what nationailty the vehicle happens to be there has to be a dedicated neutral mode in the transfer case. There are a number of flat towable vehicles on the market, but it's dwindling. Any google search should list what's available. Some are more of a pita than others.

Your statement about you "can't find a vehicle that can be towed safely", is "towed safely" your dilemma in finding a vehicle? I can't imagine a towable Jeep Cherokee is somehow made not towable in Canada.
