My 2014 Fleetwood Southwind V-10 outputs a constant 14.4 bolts no matter how long you drive it. Same thing when all the batteries are fully charged with solar panels or when plugged in.

Can anyone with a similar rig confirm this?

Thanks

What type batteries do you have? 14.4 Volts while charging is should be ok for AGM batteries.

Actually, it was a conversation with Lifeline AGM tech support that got me on this after 8 years. He said a continuous 14.4 V after their AGM batteries were fully charged would cause them to fail, and yes, they could tell that if you tried to warranty them.

I currently have Crown CR-235 flooded cell I can buy for less than half the LifeLine cost. I’m 78 and mostly boondocks camp.

Sansa - thanks for response! What year is your rig? I’m wondering if Ford had different voltage alternators over the years.

Anyone else?

14.4 is normal, same on my SUV and MH.
