No date for full timing yet, but doing preliminary "feasibility research." Heavily leaning toward retaining Florida as my "domicile address."

In my 70's, currently in a Medicare Advantage HMO Plan that works quite well for me, and is cheap. Get money back.

However, I scoured the provider's website and couldn't find any provision for full time out of state travel. Sure, I guess emergencies are covered, but no routine checkups and minor events.

So I have questions:
1. Can I keep an Advantage Plan and get fairly cheap supplemental insurance?
2. Is there an Advantage Plan that offers an "anywhere in the US" option?
3. How much more do full timers on medicare typically pay to cover full timing around the nation?

Thanks.
Just dreaming.

Check out Humana PPO plan. Let’syou choose the Dr.

Have Aetna Advantage PPO and works traveling outside of home state

We worked with a broker to come up with the best plan for both of us based on traveling etc.

A good one will go through all available options with you and make a recommendation based on your needs.

We use United Healthcare. ( Texas) Have the PPO. Can see any Dr. anywhere. Can see up to 1 “Primary Care Physician “ each month anywhere and no co pay for the PCP.

Thanks, all! So it sounds very doable. Now I need to compare rates for those options with rates for my current coverage.
