Got the email, doesn't show on their website yet.

They are struggling to stay afloat. If the upcoming Perry rally is as unsuccessful as the previous rally where they lost several hundreds of thousands of dollars, that may be the final dagger.

The rally’s really don’t loose money but how they do the accounting for them makes it appear that way on paper.
They continue to struggle to find ways to attract families since the organization primarily consists of aging retirees. I don’t attend their big rallies but I am a member and do enjoy rallies with members of
the chapters we belong to. It’s a great way to get together with folks with common interests and would encourage anyone who hasn’t participated in one to give it a try

Got my email yesterday - the one that says I owe them $100 to re-up. We discussed it and came to the conclusion that they're just not providing $100 in benefits. So, sadly, our 11-year membership will not be renewed.

I have been a member since 2010 and also chose not to renew.

The only reason I maintained a membership was for the tire discount which I ended up not using or needing so not renewing. They did have one of the best rallies in Perry, GA though, but plenty others out there.

I haven't seen anyone mention the big benefit of Medical & Travel Assist. I use to think the tire discount was the big one till I saw how well this worked. It is included at no extra charge unlike all the outher clubs.

I considered not renewing but will be replacing some tires soon, so I did. Said renewal fee was $100 but it actually came up at $50.

And they can't figure out why they are losing money. If you're staying with the Michelins, your local dealer will often beat the FMCA price.

Bill, since you will be in Nappanee in the near future, I suggest getting a price from Glen's Tire. They beat the FMCA price by quite a bit.
