2019 tires on my RV trailer. Negligible wear, no cracks in side walls. We bought it used, the guy said he out new tires in and probably didn’t have 2000 miles and I believe it.

If you were doing a 6000 mile round trip would you put new tires on?

What brand of tires? What's the date code on them?

What brand of tires? How long does the manufacturer say they're good for? Most I've seen recommend replacing after 10 years regardless of wear but Goodyear recommends 6 years.

I have Goodyear Endurance tires on my trailer with a 2019 date code. I've pushed it a bit but I'll be replacing those in the spring.

Replace, no question. It's age, not miles in this case. And that goes double if they're made in China. And check the date code on the new ones, before installation. The peace of mind in having new tires is priceless especially since the suitability of what you have now is already in your head.

I need to I clarify that I'm not a true tire expert, but I am an expert in mishaps and the resulting "what ifs."
