T/H is Tow Haul mode. When engaged the torqshift transmission software changes the shiftpoints to keep the transmission in the lower gears longer before upshifts. The purpose of tow mode is to prevent boil over of the tran. oil. If you had a Ford Torqshift tran., 5 or 6 spd. and the shift pts. didn't change during acceleration when in tow mode there was a malfunction in the units electronics.
Holdmybeer, thank you for clarifying that for the other gentleman. I also want to thank everyone that weighed in on the tune package for my V-10. I just installed it this morning, and the performance improvements are tremendous! If any of you are considering doing a tune, DON'T WAIT! The tuner I got from 5 Star Tuning was recommended by a friend, and they do an excellent job. I can't wait for our next run south to see the full benefit!

What's meant by "tremendous" ?

When you say “T/H” mode I presume you mean Tow Mode. The only change that did for me is downshift sooner when backing off the throttle. My acceleration shifts never changed even before the upgrade.
In tow/haul mode mine holds shift points longer and downshift engine brakes stronger

Based on mine it has a little bit more power, shifting has changed to be more comfortable. When down shifting under load it does not drop 2 gears right away. It will drop one gear then if needed down to the next gear. Driving with cruise control is more comfortable on somewhat level ground, however cruse control on hills or mountains is kind of useless.
I’ve grown accustomed to the new program and can control shifting up and down hills with the throttle. Drivability is just much better.

I don’t use tow/haul much. I like coasting down hills with my foot off the throttle. (Save fuel and allows engine/transmission cooling) unless it’s a steep downgrade then I turn it on. The V10 is a low compression engine so it does help, but not much.

I'm an outlier, I travel in T/H regardless whether towing or not at a cost of .25 mpg overall. The same 5 or 6 spd torqshift transmission and cooling system powers a 26k lb. gvw f53 MH as it does an 18k lb gvw f53 MH. I just figure I'm towing a house. The long term benefit, if any, I guess is arguable but there's no downside other than the quarter mile per gallon cost. The shift pts. are further apart when getting to speed, but once there it's no different.
