My main reason is expense of ownership.

My second would be size, our 30' is perfect.

Our previous Class A, a 2017 Georgetown, had the V10 gas engine. It worked fine. Averaged 6 mpg at a highway speed of no more that 62 mph. It was dependable, low maintenance, slow, and persistent. No real complaints engine-wise. The MH drove like a school bus. Noisy, rattly, hard to keep straight, and bounced us around like tennis balls in a dryer.
Now, we have a 5th wheel and I bought a Chevy 3500 to tow it. Much more comfortable tow, easier on us than the MH. Average interstate speed is now 65-70 mph and average fuel economy on a 1000 mile trip was 9.0

Love having our diesel Super C after 6 years with a gas class c.

Much easier to go through truck pumps when filling than trying to find a gas station we could get in and out of easily. Having a toad and not being able to backup makes it more difficult in gas stations.

Just my 2 cents.
