Good day,
The thermostat in our GE 12 volt refrigerator has become 'sporadic' -- working sometimes, then not for hours, before cutting back in. The replacement part is 'out of stock' throughout North America, suggesting there were lots of failures and replacements of this part.
What can I do for a replacement? I don't care if it doesn't fit inside the existing plastic housing -- I'll modify something for mounting inside the fridge.
But I understand that you can't use a 120 - 240 AC thermostat in a 12 volt fridge?
Any generic thermostats out there for 12 volt applications?
Thanks...
