Good morning All, I have a 2018 Baystar 3518 and the generator randomly starts on its own while plugged into shore power. I know some higher end models have an auto start if temps drop or rise, I do not believe I have this option. I have checked the compartment, no crossed wires or evidence of critters being in there. At a loss, any help is appreciated, bill

Are you sure you don't have an AGS? It may be wall mounted in the bay forward of the pegboard and has a phone type connector on it which goes to the inverter.

My understand is that you have to enable AGS every time you want to use it so you cant forget and have it starting when you don't intend it to. So even if you had AGS the generator shouldn't start randomly,
