Today I noticed something hanging down from the center arm hinge of the rear awning. On closer inspection it looks like the inside of the arm has some sort of plastic sheathing which has come out about 12 inches. Also the cables are coated in a white plastic which appears be coming apart. Anyone familiar with the internals of the arms or have an idea what this black plastic's purpose is? I've reached out to Girard and am waiting for a response.

I am thinking it is just a protective sleeve which doesn’t look like it’s doing such a great job. Please keep us posted on what Girard has to say
