We traveled from Pensacola, FL to Seattle, WA beginning March 5th for a wedding on the 13th. Took 40 across and up through New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, yada yada yada and through Snoqualmie Pass. Hit a little slush a few times and got a little snow on the windshield but nothing serious. Not sure I'm ready for it, anyway. Fun trip - boondocked most of it in Love's and TA parking lots and have spent 5 days so far at a wonderful park in Bothell, WA...Lake Pleasant RV Park. Highly recommend.
This is/was our first RV experience and we've learned a lot and been blessed to not have any major hiccups. N ow for our 'issue'. We're headed home. Looking for something to do on the way. We're in no particular rush. Would like to make the most of some of the ridiculous gas money we've spent. Seems everything north is pretty much in slumber/hibernation until April or May. We're trying to avoid snow as much as possible. Again, no scehdule other than having to dump a tank every few days or so. Don't mind truckstop lots - prefer to stay away from the Walmart thing. Would like to keep the driving to 500 (+/- 100) miles per day. Looking for interesting things to do on the way back. Any suggestions between here and there? We're in a 2007 Damon Challenger Triton v10 with a 2000 Wrangler TJ l4 5sp toad. We're here in Seattle area until Monday, noon. Thanks in advance.
