I have noticed that the Greenlane card consistently offers a better price than the Open Roads card.

Since I only recently started using Greenlane, I'm wondering if long-term users have found that to be true for a while.

We have been using Greenlane for a couple/few years, don’t recall how long it is been.
Our experience has been that which card has the best price - varies over time and by geography.
I have noticed Greenlane has been better pricing recently in areas we have been checking for travel plans.
Also noticed that Greenlane has been adding more locations, locations that were in the past only on Mudflap’s program.
Greenlane has been turning into our primary card with Open Roads and Mudflap fighting for 2nd place.
We also like that the final price is more transparent, the price Greenlane shows is the price you pay. Unlike Open Roads where we give back 10% of the savings, which I believe is still added on top of the price they show on the app.

Same here. I've been using Greenlane exclusively for the past 2 years. They're constantly improving and updating the app to incorporate new features. I particularly like not needing to use a fuel card at all at many locations. Very convenient. They forward you codes to enter that approves the transaction.

Just signed up myself, thanks. Nice to have an alternative to Open Roads.

So, a bit confused. How is the fuel paid for. The app says nothing that I can see. The app also says you have to state how many gallons you want. So what if I say 60 and use 50?
Their website is lacking unless I am missing it
Do I need to link a bank account? What are their fees? Maybe I need more coffee

Same here when I got the app. I'm going to contact them next week.

What underboss said above is correct regarding how you pay.

Answer to “how many gallons” - this tells GREENLANE what amount to request to pre authorize. If you say “60” then 60 is pre authorized and when you only use 50 gallons the final charge is only for what you used.
