Hello. My name is Mike Heffner and I previously worked for Sunline Coach building Travel Trailers, 5th Wheel, and truck campers for 9 years as the electric department supervisor, although I did work in all the departments at one point or another. I currently work for Gander RV & Outdoors as a Parts & Accessories Product Specialist and was suggested to join a few RV forums by our Service Manager to better assist in my finding answers to any questions that may arise in our store and shop.

Just to add to this:
I have been an avid camper since I was a kid. My grandparents had an old Coleman pop-up camper that looked like a green canvas mushroom when opened. We mostly camped local at Knoebels in Elysburg, PA but some summers we would make week long trips to other areas like the Thousand Islands, Myrtle beach, etc. I have always been a tent camper, especially during my time in the military (haha), and my girlfriend also likes to go camping. We did tent camping for a while then progressed to finding places and state parks that have Yurts and Rustic cabins, but now it is getting inconvenient for night time trips to the campground bathrooms. So we are starting to look at travel trailers (which would require one of us to upgrade to something more rugged for towing) or a Class C motorhome and tow dolly since neither of our current vehicles can be flat towed without modification to the drivetrains.

Welcome from Georgia!
