I have always used a employee burden rate of 2.0. I am starting to see that as a little short. We pay 100% of an employees insurance and 40% of their family plan. That may be one of the accomplishments that I am most proud of.

true, but a lot of people just buy w/o putting any more idea into it than I'll sell it for more later.....nor matter the purchase price.
That is because they don't know the rules! Keeping up with inflation is not increasing worth.

"One thing I learned from a wealthy gent is you make your money, not when you sell something, rather, when you buy something. If ya think about it, that's pretty wise, altho reverse thinking to most."

Well yah! Retail is a ceiling. The only way to make a living selling anything is to buy below market with allowance for selling costs.

Consumers spend!
I have always strived to use this formula.

I grew up as an Air Force Brat. We moved every 2 - 3 years. My family were my best friends. 14 schools from the first grade to the 12th grade.

Now at 71, I still follow my Mother's frugal ways. Nothing goes to waste; shop sales and use coupons; save save save. Mother taught sis and I to sew, and it still comes in useful!

I'm comfortable in my shoes and I'm proud of where I've been.
