I have a 2017 4369 the exhibiting some handling issues that I need you guys help on solving. the coach drives like a dream until you hook my 2021 jeep up to it using a blue ox tow system. The added jeep seems to put a load on the ass end to the point it sways really easy and when going around corners it want tom pull you off the road and changing lanes can be a nightmare. when changing lanes it seem as if the jeep throw its weight into the lane change and wants to keep going, pull the rv further out of the lane.. Surely you guys the pull a toad, don't have this problem or you wouldn't want to tow your vehicle, its down right scary. Any help would be appreciated
 
One thing to potentially look at: How is the height at the receiver compared to the height at the baseplate connection? Level (like no more than an 1" or so difference at either end) or at an angle?

Another: How wide are your jeep tires?

I would suggest reaching out to BlueOx support as I assume they'd have a list of questions as they help to diagnose the issue.

My first thought is there is something wrong with the tow bar. The post above also has two items that could definitely cause an issue.

When I tow my Jeep, I don't even know it's there. I have to look at the rear facing camera once in a while to give me comfort that it's still behind me.
 
Agree with a tow bar issue, I don't feel my Jeep Cherokee at all
 
I towed a jeep a little over 50k miles with a 35’ Ventana (shorter coach, no tag) and two different BO tow bars and never had the slightest issue. It followed perfectly, behaved admirably, slowed me down a bit but that’s life with a 6.7, but never gave me any concerns.

I did set it up so the tow bar was just about dead level (6” rise hitch extension and my own designed and built mounts on the jeep to get it that way) and kept the tow bar well maintained. Like Buster said, I often glanced at the rear camera and told my wife that the jeep was still back there.

Any chance your jeep steering is getting locked? Also is your Jeep lifted? Mine was all stock and 32” tires. I don’t know about modern jeeps (mine was an 2001) but I know a lot of people tow them. I have heard of this dilemma once before but I never heard what the outcome was.

Agree with all the above.

Two toads and the only time we had an issue was hooking up on a downhill and one of the arms didn’t lock - car swung out to the side and we had to redo the hookup on more level ground.

Should be fairly level when hooked up - towbar height front to back should be same height or within a couple inches.

When everything is locked in place there should be no sway noted unless it is something from the jeep (as noted above). Have never even noticed the car or the current Cherokee are back there when towing.
 
This really sounds like the arms are not locked which allows he toad to sway badly. I have a Blue Ox and tow a F150 SuperCrew No Tag Axle.
 
Agree with the above. We have towed 4 different Jeeps with 2 different coaches (both non tag) for over 70k miles, and I've never even been able to tell they are back there. If both arms are locked and the bar is set up at the right height, there shouldn't be any issues.
 
Can you observe how tgd Jeepis tracking when this happens? Rear camera? Almost sounds like a help issue. Do you have another vehicle to tow to see difference?
Is the tow hitch secure?
 
Yes the hitch and the tow bars are locked in place blue ox tells me to slow down that's all they could come up with hell I'm at 60 mph now how slow do they what me to go. there must be a simple answer that's not coming to mind its a 23 jeep Rubicon and haven't notice anything funky when driving it
