Has anyone had any positive, or negative, dealings with Harvest Host?

We looked into it, and it seems very positive, but is there a catch? Is there a down side?

We are members and enjoy it. when we plan a trip, we look to see if there ones that appeal to us along our route near our desired stop for the evening. If so, great. If not, no big deal. There are plenty times we spend more than if we went to a campground (over the suggested minimum), but we most likely had more fun than if we had stayed at a no frills overnight campground.

That's great to hear! We are really looking forward to getting out there and enjoying it

We’ve been members for years. No downside as far as I am concerned. It’s a super alternative to Walmarts, etc. for one night stopovers.

We are new members and have only used it a few times, but those have been great experiences. My wife and I plan on taking longer trips in the coming years and want to use HH for those 1 night-just want to get a good nights sleep and get going again stops. The thought of staying in a Walmart parking lot like does not appeal to us at all

HH is an integral part of our travel plans.

We used HH this past summer at several different locations. The only two downsides for us are that often the host is way off the beaten path, and some don't allow day-of reservations.
