Oh yeah!!! And, the primo 505 Southwestern brand too. Life is good in Chuggsville. BTW, that’s not “hoarding;” that’s just a solid week’s supply!

I know, right? Well...the Whirlpool has performed for us well...and we have device support (Weber Q-grill, Blackstone, Instant Pot, Air Fryer, Toaster Oven...)

Our Advantium at home has been doing weird stuff. Heat water in microwave mode...find water cold... ??? I haven't used it that much myself.

We've had to replace 2 Sharp Micros in the S&B due to rusting bad on the inside and I swear it is the cup of water my DW heats up for coffee every day. She says it's not .....
Yes, they are vented.

Don’t. They are addicting and there is no known cure. Therapy recommends frequent consumption.

This morning I made breakfast burritos. Simple style just scrambled eggs with a generous portion of HGC wrapped in a warmed and moistened flour tortilla (wet paper towel, nuc for 20 secs). Yumm

Sounds much better than pineapple pizza.m There is hope! But, I am still open to try a slice. Sounds like those peppers would go good on the pizza along with onions and fresh garlic, and, of course, extra cheese.

Yumm..Now I’m dying to try a flame roasted Vidalia Onion and HGC Sandwic...

I found it interesting...when we went to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta...restaurants offered sauce as Red, Green, or “Christmas” (both). I mistakenly thought Red would be the hottest...as I love spicy food. Nope. Turns out the Green is commonly hotter than the Red.

They do have variants grown in the same area. Still referred to as Hatch Green Chilies...the vendors whom roast them for you fresh will ask if you want Mild, Medium, or Hot. They will select the proper variety for you.

While the best way to experience Hatch Chilies is to buy them from a roadside vendor, who will roast them for you on the spot... I have to admit the 505 brand is pretty great. When you first open the jar, take a deep whiff of Fire Roasted Deliciousnes.

We have Hatch Green Chiles (Medium) at least 2-3 times a week. Tonite was LadyDi’s “Patio Chicken;” baked chicken and rice with HGT and mushrooms. Deeelish!!!

Now, THAT sounds like a blast! There are some larger RV parks in Las Cruces and that’s just a little over a half-hour away from Hatch. Maybe there? It would be an easy day trip to pepper land. And, it would also put the gathering close to Old Melilla (outskirts of Las Cruces) where you can enjoy some REAL New Mexican cooking. This is definitely something to ponder when the craziness is over.

Who’s up for a HGC pizza...pineapple optional but not recommended?

Roast them on the grill. You don't want to peal to many of them, hands will burn for awhile.

When I lived in Albuquerque had a friend that told me how much iron was in the ground determines how hot they are. I'll leave the pickin and sorting to them pro's.

Oh yeah! Another fav is green chili stew.
