Heading to Talladega NASCAR race

In the morning I’ll be heading to the races. Talladega is pretty good for the RV guys. Tons of spots at reasonable prices to out of this world. I’m staying in the free camping area which there are two sites and walking distance to the trace. No utilities where I’m staying, but you can call for water and tank clean out if you need it. My previous trips were nice and nothing crazy going on at night. Then add $90 for a Sat and Sun race is worth it.

I don’t follow NASCAR anymore, and found myself near Bristol a couple of weekends ago when the races were going on. It felt like I was crashing a Lynyrd Skynyrd festival.

Just made it to the track. In the background is turn 4. Pretty much a well manicured open field and camp anywhere you want.

One area is where the parties are and. I’m over in the area if you want some sleep. Lol

Well the north side free camping is a bit noisy. South side is much tamer. Having fun anyway.

It was a good race. I’m tired now and enjoying my bourbon.
