Trying to access my furnace to clean out the sail switch.

Without seeing its location it is hard to give advice, but most likely you would need to remove a panel (like under the fridge) and completely disconnect the gas line, electrical, and probably all the ducts. Why they don't make the easier to service is beyond my comprehension........
