Just purchased our 2024 Reflection 27BH. Already been changing a few things to match our traveling style...Boondocking is our passion! With the areas we get into, and with the height of our F250, bed clearance is critical. Installed Simcoe blocks and upgraded to 16" tires and wheels. I now have a bit over 7" of clearance. Added the Morryde X-Factor cross members for added stability as well. I have done this with our last two RV's and this set up works well. Also found some of the Steadyfast stabilizers (no longer in business - but I do know where a couple more are if interested). Question: With the 12v refer. it's already obvious that the LA batteries are not goin to work for us. When hunting, we sometimes leave the RV for 4 or 5 days and pack into the back country. I'm fairly certain the refer would drain the batteries by the time we returned. We do have one 180w Solar panel...but it's also not uncommon for us to park the RV under a tree. So I am leaning towards installing a couple SOK lithium batteries. Either a pair of the 206AH or the 280AH. We do have a generator for when we get back. Again, with the probable tree/shading issues...extra solar panels would probably not help much. I would welcome any thoughts that anyone would like to share on this? In short...any experience with the amount of time (vs AH's) that your own batteries last? Thanks, M-n-T

Welcome aboard. Parking under tress to help keep your rig cool is a good idea. You can purchase portable solar panels, we had two 150 watt with extension cables that we could set up 30 feet away from the coach. We had two regular deep cycle batteries and we could boondock for up to 10 days with out any problems. By then we just needed to dump and fill. If your fridge is 65 watts depending on what else will drain your batteries, you might be okay.
