You need a little help trying to adjust my MCD shades and I cannot get one. That is going backwards. As i push down button it goes up?? I tried taking the power away from it but that didn't work when I plug it back in and immediately goes the wrong direction. Unfortunately, in the motorhome I have it only has one button for all the night shades. There are five of them controlled by one button. So trying to get them all to work is giving to be very difficult.
Called MCD numerous times but they never answer. And they always call back when i'm unavailable for I don't see the phone ring. Have looked everywhere online, there's a lot of things about programming them and their limits. But nothing about getting the direction changed.

We have a 2014 Renegade with the MCD shades.
From my vague memory you have a couple options:
1) Reverse the wires going to the shade
2) Reprogram that shade - tough part is knowing which set of instructions to use
We just replaced all our motors this past year when one motor went bad, and the new motors were no longer compatible with the old controller.
MCD thinks it is easy, but it feels so cryptic. It is like the old electronic game of “Simon” from the 80’s.

Gotcha but why would i need to rewire it, it worked the right direction for 14 years?? Seems like there has to be a different way??

As I recall, the one motor that we had go bad started doing some wonky things. Removing the fuse for a couple minutes and then replacing helped once but then totally died.
When installing a shade motor, they have a function in the programming to reverse the order. Try using the instructions that @J&JD listed above. If that doesn’t work, then try swapping the wires.
