With backup cameras in today’s vehicle it can be done fairly easily solo and some practice

If you don't have a camera you can use something like this: Amazon.com: Trailer Alignment Kit Magnet Hitch Line Up Boat Camper #888: Automotive

As stated above it is easy with a little practice and a helper. Or if you have a backup camera it is very easy.

With a visual observer not hard or with a backup camera super easy.

Have you seen some of the so called drivers in a campground? Some have a real difficult time with just about anything vehicular in nature even with a helper. Great entertainment!

Bwaaaa ha ha......I guess driving large trucks and utility trailers I forget some folks have not.

How hard is it to line up vehicle to hitch trailer?
Much much easier with a truck with one or more rear cameras. My last pickup had a camera on the tailgate of my pickup and I could back up and have the ball under the receiver in a couple of minutes and with no stress involved. The camera looked down at the ball and so the vertical alignment was easy to do.
