Time for house batteries and looking at Lifeline GPL-4CT and looking for input from those that have experience with the brand

No I’m not interested in lithium and yes I know cost of batteries is comparable to lithium batteries without the other accessories

I replaced my original interstate batteries with V Max and the batteries as well as the company have been awesome. I should note that I switched out the interstate batteries three years ago. These batteries had a build date of 2006 my rig is a 2007 pretty good life.

The V-Max batteries are sometimes known as the higher energy battery. More active material and higher electrolyte strength. They operate at a slightly higher voltage through the discharge curve which makes them a much better choice for inverter support and other RV applications. As a part of that, to get the most out of them they need to get charged at slightly higher voltages.

This is really in line with Lithium except Lithium never needs to go over 14. 6 volts. Note the max charging rate is ~3.33 hours, 4 hour max rate more typical for AGM and 6 to 8 hour better for longer life.
