How do you plan rest stops

There is no planning of my bladder. Rest stops are typically placed 10 miles further than my expected range which ends up in either chair dancing, swearing, or pulling over and an exit that has an immediate on ramp on the other side or a truck friendly gas station or truck stop.

That resembles my situation! I hear that it gets better with age.

but you have onboard facilities! (but still need a place to pull over)

I tried to convince my wife that we could swap places while underway----she wasn't having any of that.
