Question How much did you RV then vs now (5 year study)

I'm curious how RVing has changed over the last 3-5 years i.e. from 2020 until the present in how much time you're spending RVing now vs then. I posted a poll but feel free to reply and if you care to share why the change, for better or worse (more or less).

I'll start. For various reasons, not all I can pin down, my time RVing has declined pretty significantly. Some of that was family, some of it financial, some of it focusing on work that I let go of for years prior enjoying RVing and taking a break from workahaulic's anonymous. I'm planning to increase this in the year ahead but obviously costs are at the forefront both fuel and campground as well as repairs as labor costs have also spiked from what I've seen.

We declined due to a season of life where we had other priorities.
Those other items no longer take as much time so we are now planning trips again!

Up until last year, we traveled for 2-3 months plus several 3-10 day getaway trips a year. Last year, we traveled for almost 7 months. This year, we've traveled to several NKK events, but due to personal issues, we are staying closer to home for the time being. I guess we don't fit into any of the categories.

The first two years we owned our Bay Star we travelled a ton more than we used to with the TT.
Unfortunately, this year we have yet to get out due to some health issues....but hopefully that has turned the corner and we can hit the road in the early fall.

I brought my coach home June of 22, my first RV. I have steadily used it more and more each year as I gain proficiency and trailers to haul different vehicles. This is my fourth full year.

Still full timing. Now in our eighth year so nothing has changed.

Our travel amount is about the same: 7k to 10k miles/yr. What has changed a lot is the purpose of our travel. A disproportionate amount of mileage is dedicated to the care and feeding of my better half’s hobby of showing dogs.

We are only now both retired. We enjoy winter activities in the mountains (skiing, snowshoeing) and in the fall and spring we plan to travel to Europe and other parts of Canada. We have only ever RVed in the summer mostly in the mountains and locally with friends we've camped with for twenty odd years.

We put on about 2500 - 3000 kms per year RVing and plan to do more for as long as we can. We then may consider just parking an RV on a lake lot in the future or just buying a cabin.

Traveled full time for the past ten years with a new stop every two weeks. Unfortunately, due to health issues, we've been parked for a year now.
