Want to put new batteries in the key fobs.
Not sure how to open it.
Found a couple videos online but the fobs are different.
Had it to the shop to look at the slide problem I am having.
Asked them about the fob, they didn't know how.
Went to the freightliner website.
They talk about how to use and program it.
But nothing about changing the battery.
I'm thinking it's simple enough but don't to break it trying to get it apart.

Thanks

I've always just used a slender tool to pop the case open. Most use a CR 2032.

Do you see a seam on the side? My Ram key doesn't really have a place to put a screwdriver in. I use a butter knife to work into the seam. HMB is right, it is usually a 2032. But, make sure it is a 2032 and not a 2025. Sometimes they are interchangeable, sometimes they are not.

Sometimes the "slot" is on the top under the key ring loop. Post pictures if you want.

Called Freightliner 24/7 Direct.
He said under the key ring loop.
Take the loop off and pry it apart.
Sure enough that worked.
I made something so simple difficult.

Thanks for the replies.
