Seems that would be the same thing as a brewer without the brewer.
 
There is a difference between brewed and pour over. However you have to use a scale to measure the grind and water amounts, the right temp water (203 degrees) and do the pours at the right time to optimize the taste. For instance the first pour is typically 50 grams of water which is enough to “bloom” the beans to release gases. After that each pour is measured and timed. You end up with a perfect cup. I didn’t believe it was possible until I learned how to do it. Thats all we carry in the coach now.
