We are in Brenham, the home of Blue Bell ice cream and the place where Texas became Texas. Located off Hwy 290 half way in between Austin and Houston.

I know the area well. We lived on Lake Conroe until moving to the Hill country. We have friends in Industry.
The bluebonnets are always beautiful in that area.

We moved here from The Woodlands a decade ago. So glad to be out of that rat race.

Complete RV newbie here. Older than dirt, soon to be retired guy, with weekend / short duration RV travel in mind. After 40 years as an IT professional it's time to take down my shingle and spend quality time with family and friends. I need to get re-acquainted with my fishin' poles and maybe do some Parks on the Air activations.

Gracie Lou Freebush - a.k.a. Sargent at Arms will be providing security services on the road

Welcome aboard. You are going to find that this is one of the most friendly places on the net. There are a lot of folks that are willing to share their knowledge and offer an opinion or two as well.

We Love your state and are planning a return trip. As you know, Texas is BIG. We saw a lot of "Hill Country, spent some time in The Big Bend and about 3 or 4 weeks parked right on the beach on San Padre Island. Beautiful 02_29 South Padre.JPG!!!

This trip we need to do Austin, a lot more of San Antonio (love the river walk) and more time in Big Bend.

Safe Travels

Darrell
