So am I having the "normal" working out the kinks out of my 2 year old coach (other than the new engine part ?)?
My fan on dash for oasis stopped working last year, so when I went to Newmar for service work I had them fix it. As it turned out the bearings went bad (Stuart...you suspected that was going to be the case last year. ?). They replaced the motor assembly. The unfortunate part is that on the 2018's you have to take apart the whole dash to get to it. I really need to hang out with some of you guys so I can learn how to do some stuff. I was lucky that the 5 hours of labor turned out to be 2.5 hours. Glad they changed that setup in the new coaches. Anyway, I left Newmar this past Saturday. I had my Oasis running and at some point during the night the fan stopped working. Yup, not even gone one day and it was DEAD. Yes, zone 1 was on. All Is well with my Oasis. When I press the rocker switch, nothing happens (Sorta like my wet bay door when I tried to open it and the cable had slipped the allen screw.). I feel like a wire might be disconnected, but I was at a stop when the fan stopped. I'm trying to set up an appointment at NIRVC in Atlanta to have it looked at. My question to you all is as follows - is that fan meant to be used sparingly or should I be able to use it throughout the night when it's freezing outside?
Thanks!
