So we were delayed making our final run for the season south. One leg of our migration was from just north of Clarksville to Dothan this last Saturday. We have never experienced such heavy traffic on I-65 and we are not sure why. It started building south of Nashville and not long after entering Alabama it stopped (2 car fatal), after that hour delay it was almost like stop and go until Montgomery. Our normal 8 hour day turned into an 11 hour run.
College football games somewhere? More snowbirds heading south earlier? Probably about twice the normal traffic we generally see on that stretch of I-65.
