I'm now thinking it may be easier to set a destination trailer inside a trailer park/mobile home park and live there full-time. Of course I'll look into the costs of buying or renting land.

Are there any RV communities in Minnesota?

Minnesota??? :) It gets cold in the winter up there!!! :) A park model is similar to a TT but it doesn't come with holding tanks etc. Much more suited to full timing and not mobile. They are also less expensive I believe. What about two Park Models. One north for the summer and one south for the winter?? ;)

That's what my grandparents did for a while. Summer up here on a golf course and winter in Arizona.

I don't consider destination, errr, park model trailers as RV'ing.

Living in one through the cold weather months would be challenging and costly to heat. Better off going the mobile home route
