hi all,
My name is Mike, or BrotherSpike, which is my user name. Just wanted to give some background. My wife and, mostly I, have been RVing off and on for about 10 years. I've only owned used. A couple of 0older 5th wheels, a 2011 Coleman 25Q something, and now we just bought a 2019 Mesa Ridge Lite 2410RL, and have yet to take it out. Soon, but i need to get a few things ready.
I do have a question; I have a welded frame 2"hitch receiver., that I believe is at least Class III. I'm looking for some help in finding a good rack, with ramp for my 3100 Generator, approx 75 lbs, along with a 5 gl gas container and a 5-7 lb water container. I'm looking for a 500lb capacity so the less than 200 lbs, won't be too much going down the road. I'm looking for one with good stability (i can use a hitch lock for added stability), and workmanship, along with ample strapping eye-holes, or availabilty. I'm also wanting it to have at least 4" inch walls. Here's the catch I'm looking for one under $500 new.
my issue right now, is that I don't know which brand to trust. A lot of good reviews, but all seem to have their share of 1 & 2 star reviews due to some kind of failure.
I really appreciate your time, and look forward to seeing any and all responses you might give.

thanks to all,
Mike,
BrotherSpike

Trailers are not made to hang a lot of weight off the back so make sure you compensate with tongue weight. Better off buying a good brand, not cheap china crap. I have seen so many on the side of the road that gave out. Watch FB marketplace for a good used one

i've already compensated for the weight on the back. The mattress, under bed storage, and through storage up front will do exactly that. Thanks. I'm not opposed to using imported good quality at all. I've purchased supreme cradtsmanship fro Sweden, Germany, UK, Norway, and Switz, along with "some" from Asian companies. Most of the time quality, if well researched is just as good, sometimes better. I'd love to buy american made, but still aluminum, and steel is imported anyway. And I'm not usually in thier market financial demographic. Do appreciate the resonse and tip. :)
