Recently purchased a 17' Jayco Featherlight to use on my property for a guest cabin. Is the AC unit supposed to run 100% of the time? Only controls I see are: Fan-Hi/Low and AC-Hi/Low and a temp knob the turns from red/blue. Granted, it has been pretty hot and humid this summer, but even...

I have it powered through my barn which is on its own meter, so I can see what it is costing me to run this thing. :(

The fan may. May depend on the the thermostat.

I assume you have a wall thermostat?

pretty sure there is not a wall thermostat. I don't see on in any obvious position. Is it unusual for something made around 2017 to be without one?

Is one of the knobs a reostat?

Does it have clear stops or move from high to low without any steps?

No steps, that is your thermostat!

I will double check, but pretty sure there are no 'steps' on the blue/red dial.

So is the system supposed to turn itself off when it reaches a certain temp? It seems like it just keeps running
