Propane Issue

Last time camping I had no gas to the water heater or the oven/stovetop. I had freshly filled tanks. I tried tapping on the regulator to get the window to change from red to green and nothing. Just installed a new regulator and still no gas. Any ideas? I’m at a loss.

When we had propane, a few times I could not get it to go anywhere…turns out I opened the propane outlet too fast and tripped the fail safe to close off the tank. Closed and opened slowly then it worked.

Also, it takes some time for the propane to get to the kitchen area and HWT. I turn on the stove, being the furtherest from the tanks, and listen and when you hear the gas, activate your striker but don't stand too close. Don't ask me how I know that little bit of tid bit. Tends to take some time for the gas to flow tht far. If it is very cold outside, it will take longer.
