Question Keep losing trailer brake connection.

2020 Coleman 1805RB. Looses trailer brake connection intermittently. This has done this on my first tow vehicle and on my Ram pickup. I have replaced the trailer cord with no change.

LED lights? Many trucks have problems reading the voltage and recognizing that a trailer is attached. Do a search for that particular problem.

Are you referring to LED lights on the trailer.

No am not using contact grease.

Are you saying the trailer lights. I do have LED’s on the trailer.

Kevin, no I am not using contact grease.

When I bought my RAM the connector was full or it. I didn't argue with the manufacturer. On the one occasion I let it dry out, so to speak, I had intermittent brake issues. .

Just saying.

Yes, I was saying LED's on the trailer can cause issues.
