I stow them on the side of the bed. It's not something I want to see all the time. They're ugly IMHO. If you don't tack them down they'll be a slip hazard.
 
We stack ours and set them upright in a pull out tray down below.

That's smart. I set them on the side of the bed between the cabinet and the wall. Someday it's going to leave marks so I need to reconsider this. Twice now I've had to retract the slide for some reason such as moving the coach or weather and didn't put the protectors down, slide came in and protectors went aft of the cabinet, one time retracting the slides they got jammed and it was a situation. So be careful where you stow them if you forget they are there and don't use them. You know me, Darwin at work.
 
This is one of the reasons I went with an Essex flooring in my 2020 NADP...it’s not as polished, and has a bit of a wood look to it.
